Subject: [Sacapcooperation-l] OCLC / SACAP assessment I
We have been most pleased to see the level of take-up on the Cooperative Collection Development in South Asia Partnership Workshop. We encourage you to keep our goals in your mind as you make selection decisions over the next few months.
I have appended here the first of several reports we hope to present prior to our meeting. This report seeks to provide a general sense of our collecting activity since the establishment of SACAP in 1961, and the amount of overlap in collections in the past decade.
We plan to share additional data over the summer, and will be asking your assistance in compiling some information to distribute to the other participants. In the meanwhile, keep those commitments rolling in!
